Perhaps suffering from the tyranny of high expectations, the Philharmonic spent Tuesday roadshow production of Mamma Mia be a disappointment - my personal Waterloo if you like, more fun serving up a three-song encore glam life of two-and-a half hours immediately preceding year. The show debuted on Broadway in October 2001 and will soon clock performance 3000.. Although Mamma Mia wasn t the first jukebox musical, it cemented the popularity forms.
